Interior designer. Born in Okayama in 1966. He is Director of Wonderwall Inc. and a professor at the Department of Scenography, Space and Fashion Design at Musashino Art University. He established Wonderwall in 2000. He is highly acclaimed internationally for his sense of balance, which incorporates contemporary elements while paying respect to free-thinking, tradition and style in embodying a concept. His main projects include UNIQLO’s flagship shops (including those in New York, Paris, Ginza and Shanghai), PIERRE HERMÉ PARIS Aoyama, THOM BROWNE. NEW YORK AOYAMA, INTERSECT BY LEXUS-TOKYO, Hong Kong Ritz-Carlton’s main bar OZONE, Samsung’s first U.S. branding space Samsung 837 (New York), to name but a few.
